screen sizes, etc.

Hello everyone,

Sorry about all the confusion with the screen sizes.
For those of you who are still going to present, here are some
tips:

1) The projection screen size is nominally 640x480, but seems
to be a bit smaller than that since the bottom part seems to get cut-off.
As Prof. Stein suggests, if you make sure you can do your demo
within the upper left quarter of the normal screen size, then you
should be fine.

2) I have set-up 2 machines: CS101-17, and CS101-03 to 640x480
resolution. You can use these to do your final testing, if you wish.
These are the two machines beside the window in the rightmost alley(?)
of the lab (near the server and TA machines).

3) Even at 640x480 resolution, the bottom line of the screen doesn't
show up on the projector, so you can't see the Windows Start button.
To fix this, you can drag the Status bar (the bar with the Start button)
to any edge of the screen. I suggest dragging it to the top edge.
Just press on any empty portion of the bar and drag it to the top edge.
It should stay there even after you log out.

OK, I hope this helps.
